    Courtesy Visit from Faculty of Education, University of Malaya – Malaysia

    In the middle of tightening up process of all academic activities of UPI, this morning the SPs-UPI accepting a delegation of three master students and a lecturer from University of Malaya-Malaysia (UniMalaya). Accepted by the  Director and Vice Director of SPs-UPI, Prof Dr Syihabuddin, MPd and Prof Dr Anna Permanasari, MPd; the meeting aimed to deliver the MoA of students and staffs exchange for 2020 until next 5 years. Located in the 1st floor meeting room of SPs and accompanied by Dr. Tina Hayati Dahlan, M.Pd., Psikolog (Head of Educational Psychology Program), also Arif Hidayat, M.Si., PhD Ed (Head of International Partnership and Education); some points are fruitfully discussed with Dr. Fonny Dameaty Hutagalung of Faculty of Education UniMalaya i.e.: to institutionalize the partnership that has long existed since 2017, and reciprocally possible various activities such as: 8 days-students colloquium, one semester of student credit transfer, visiting professor/scholar, joint conference and possible fr welcoming of UPI scholars become external examiner in UM. “We committed to bring the MoA is not only on the paper, so we bring 3 master students here for sharing,  unfortunately since the covid outbreak we could not make it, but the main intention is delivered, that it bring this MoA and luckily meet with SPs Professors”. Eventually, the meeting ended up with a warm conversation and a modify shake hand in adjust of covid-19 outbreak.(IPE-AH; pics:Yanuar)

    AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance) sedang berlangsung di SPs UPI untuk Program Doktor and Magister Manajemen

    Visi SPs UPI adalah menjadi lembaga yang diakui di tingkat Asia pada tahun 2025. Akreditasi internasional adalah upaya untuk mencapai visi itu. Pada tahun 2020, ada 5 program studi yang telah mengajukan akreditasi AQAS, yaitu program Pendidikan Geografi S2 dan S3, dan Program S2 Teknik dan Pendidikan Vokasi. Selama dua hari, 3 dan 4 Maret 2020, program magister dan doktoral dalam manajemen sedang diakreditasi oleh AQAS (Badan Penjaminan Mutu), sebuah lembaga akreditasi pendidikan dari Jerman. Proses penilaian melibatkan 4 penilai: Prof. Dr. Ilona Ebbers, Prof. Brian C. Gozun, Prof. De Ellen Roemer, Dr. Hans Dieter Schinner dan Thorben Steenmanns (Perwakilan Mahasiswa). Perwakilan AQAS adalah Doris Hermanns dan Dr. Dorothee Groeger. Batch berikutnya yang akan dikunjungi adalah program Magister dan Doktoral Pendidikan Geografi (10-11 Maret 2020), dan program Magister Teknik dan Pendidikan Kejuruan.

    AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance) is underway at SPs UPI for Doctoral and Master Management Program

    SPs UPI’s vision is to become a recognized institution at the Asian level by 2025. International accreditation is an effort to achieve that vision. In 2020, there are 5 study programs that have applied for the AQAS accreditation, namely the S2 and S3 Geography Education programs, and the S2 Engineering and Vocational Education Program. During the two days, 3 and 4 March 2020, the master and doctoral program in management is being accredited by the AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance), an educational accreditation institution from Germany. The assessment process were involved 4 assessors: Prof. Dr. Ilona Ebbers, Prof. Brian C. Gozun, Prof. De Ellen Roemer, Dr. Hans Dieter Schinner and Thorben Steenmanns (Student Representative). The Representative AQAS were Doris Hermanns and Dr. Dorothee Groeger. The next batchs will be visited are Master and doctoral programs of Geography Education (10-11 March 2020), and Master program on Engineering and Vocational Education.
